Job summary

DNV is seeking a motivated Training Sales & Business Development professional to identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and sell our training programs to corporate and individual clients. This remote role covers the Continental U.S.

and focuses on growing public and private training sales across North America. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in selling professional services, strong English communication, and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience selling professional services, training, consulting, or related solutions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, including presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% per year, primarily to trade shows and conferences in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of public and private training sales across North America.
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships.
• Identify client training needs and recommend learning solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.
