Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. is seeking a Trade Show & Events Manager to lead planning, coordination and on-site execution for 65+ industry events annually. You’ll partner with Brand Engagement, Marketing and Sales to translate objectives into clear plans, timelines and logistics, from registration to post-event follow-up.

The role supports budgets, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration, with up to 20% travel and a remote-HQ setup across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Strong project management, planning, organization and follow-through.
• Five+ years coordinating trade shows, conferences, or events.
• Experience with vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, shipping, and post-event reconciliation.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing; veterinary/animal health industry experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and proactive.
• Proficiency with common productivity tools and event systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participation in 65+ trade shows and events annually aligned with marketing goals.
• Manage end-to-end event lifecycle including research, registration, sponsorships, exhibitor agreements, deadlines and deliverables.
• Develop event plans, timelines, checklists and readiness communications for stakeholders.
• Coordinate booth logistics, shipping, setup, returns and service orders.
• Partner with organizers, vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate branded materials, giveaways, apparel and booth assets.
• Ensure consistent brand presentation across trade shows and event touchpoints.
• Assist in planning sales meetings, training events and continuing education with internal owners.
• Secure venues, accommodations, meeting rooms and event spaces with third-party vendors.
• Coordinate food & beverage, room layouts, A/V, materials, registration and attendee logistics.
• Support budget planning, vendor sourcing and negotiations for cost-effective delivery.
• Track milestones and logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
