Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a 12-month engagement to lead hardware development for wearable tech, including smart glasses. The TPM will drive schedules, risk management, and cross‑functional coordination across design, validation, suppliers, and product teams in a remote US setting with West Coast hours preferred.

This role requires 5+ years in hardware or TPM, a Bachelor's in engineering or CS, and experience with global suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering or technical program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of engineering design deliverables, including specs, DOE, and validation plans.
• Manage hardware component delivery timelines for development builds and drive qualification toward mass production.
• Develop and maintain detailed program schedules aligned with requirements, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
• Establish and maintain program structures, workflows, milestones, and rhythms across engineering and leadership.
• Track program progress and communicate status, risks, mitigation plans, decisions, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor tooling timelines, design sprint progress, and other critical activities impacting execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless milestone execution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date program documentation for visibility and decision‑making.
• Participate in internal practice meetings and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to industry thought leadership and learning content.
