Job summary

The client, a New Zealand-based traffic management provider, seeks a TMP Designer for remote engagement under an Independent Contractor Agreement. You will prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), CARs, and diagrams, ensuring NZGTTM compliance and timely delivery.

Collaborate with operations teams, STMSs, and authorities to implement practical TMP solutions, while keeping documentation accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in Traffic Management Planning, TMP Design or related TTM role.
• Working knowledge of NZGTTM requirements.
• Experience creating TMPs and related documentation.
• Experience with traffic management diagrams and practical TTM solutions.
• Proficiency with RapidPlan or similar planning software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and amend TMPs in line with NZGTTM and RCA requirements.
• Develop accurate traffic management diagrams and supporting documentation.
• Design practical traffic management solutions considering site conditions and methods.
• Ensure safety for workers, road users and the public in TMP designs.
• Maintain records of TMPs, revisions, submissions and approvals.
• Collaborate with Operations teams and external authorities to meet approvals.
