Job summary

Taleo seeks a TCP Permit Specialist to manage permit applications and design Traffic Control plans across the United States. The role emphasizes learning traffic control design with AutoCAD basics, collaborating with engineers, and leveraging mapping tools to map databases and generate accurate permit drawings.

The position supports remote work within the USA, requires strong organization, and the ability to meet deadlines while communicating effectively with municipal staff and engineers.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or Technical Degree in Drafting, GIS, Engineering or equivalent
• Two years AutoCAD experience, desired
• Requires passing Background Check
• Must be organized, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
• Good command of English language and strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple drafting projects with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform research to determine proper traffic control plans for each project
• Analyze current designs and modify to meet customer needs
• Prepare and maintain new or replacement business permit drawings
• Research and map databases using Google Earth, GIS, County Maps, etc.
