Job summary

UDP is seeking a Traffic Management CAD Designer to produce compliant 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Cone, and AutoTURN. Based in Birmingham or Home Based, you will work with our team to deliver high-quality TTM designs across projects.

You will own designs from brief to issue, attend client meetings, maintain records, and perform risk assessments. The role is 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, with a supportive team and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CAD design technician role.
• Experience in temporary traffic management installations.
• Good understanding of relevant industry guidelines and reference documents.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civils, BricsCAD, Cone, AutoTURN, KeyLines and KeySigns.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable BIM and 3D design knowledge.
• IHE Temporary Traffic Management Certificate or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Producing Temporary Traffic Management CAD designs.
• Attending client meetings and supporting technical discussions.
• Maintaining accurate internal design records and documentation.
• Completing design risk assessments and contributing to safer solutions.
