Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP is seeking a Remote Legal Assistant III (Abstractor/Examiner) with direct experience in Title Examination. This full-time, non-exempt role requires handling title orders, document review, and client communications with accuracy.

You will examine titles, analyze records, identify defects, and ensure compliance with SLAs while supporting our financial institution clients. Pending accommodations may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 5 years of title examination.
• Knowledge: Real estate law, title examination processes, and interpretation of complex legal documents.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organization.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with title examination procedures and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Title Examination: Review orders and assess title condition and insurability.
• Document Analysis: Research public records and documents to establish ownership and descriptions.
• Issue Identification: Identify defects or discrepancies and develop solutions for clear title.
• Communication: Explain chain of title, exceptions, and requirements to clients.
• Production and SLA Compliance: Meet production targets and SLAs with accuracy.
• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities and participate in special projects.
