Job summary

Legence is seeking a Timekeeping Systems & Compliance Manager to own timekeeping systems, governance, and payroll integration. You will lead strategy, business requirements, and implementation initiatives while partnering with Payroll, HRIS, HR, Operations, Finance, IT and business leaders to support compliant payroll and scalable workforce management.

The role ensures timekeeping practices, controls, and systems meet regulatory obligations and audit readiness across the organization, with focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in workforce management, timekeeping, payroll, or HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws and SOX controls.
• Experience with enterprise timekeeping platforms and multi-state compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise timekeeping systems and workforce management technologies.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate time capture and payroll integration.
• Lead design, testing, deployment, and optimization of timekeeping solutions.
• Define requirements, configurations, workflows, approvals, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with wage/hour laws and audit readiness.
