Job summary

Remote is seeking a Time & Attendance Specialist to ensure accurate management of Time & Attendance activities for Remote's external employees and clients. The role emphasizes legal compliance and delivering a strong employee experience in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

You will report to the Manager Lifecycle: Time & Attendance and collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams using Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-Suite to drive efficient processes and responsible

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity and legal compliance across jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills with confidentiality.
• Business-level English; additional languages are a plus.
• Aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, including automation.
• Strong documentation and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and advise on employment law changes for clients and employees.
• Be case manager for all employee lifecycle leave and working hours with accuracy for internal and external staff.
• Advise on employment legislation and provide guidance on interpretation of agreements and labor law.
• Collaborate with payroll, legal counsel and government bodies to ensure compliance.
• Assist Senior Specialist in daily operations.
