Job summary

WeGo Public Transit is seeking a Customer Care Representative - Ticket Sales Specialist to support the public by handling inquiries, selling fare media, and providing accurate transit information. This remote US role reports to the Customer Service Supervisor and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with the public preferred.
• Previous telephone operator experience with clear voice quality for telephone work.
• Ability to learn Davidson County and MTA service.

Responsibilities

• Sell fare media to customers at the Customer Information Booth.
• Reconcile daily sales and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Provide accurate answers to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Provide transit information using Trapeze INFO Agent Software, Google Maps, and Transit Master.
• Input customer comments into Trapeze COM Software.
• De-escalate dissatisfied customers and provide assistance.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting and using the fare media platform and transit services.
• Collaborate with team to improve customer service.
• Input Lost and Found items into Access Database.
• Fulfill and distribute fare media mail orders processed by Call Center Team.
