Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to work remotely (US nationwide) with a focus on Threat Management. The role combines security expertise and advisory skills to design security programs, aligned with client initiatives and a dedicated sales team.

You will advise on security solutions across multiple domains and drive thought leadership with customers and partners. You will collaborate with delivery teams to ensure secure, pragmatic strategies and roadmaps that meet client business goals,

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer.

Responsibilities

• Drive services and technologies business to meet quarterly and annual quota with account teams.
• Understand client security environment, operations, security needs, and risk appetite.
• Position Optiv services and partners to deliver security value to clients.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and qualify leads for proposals and sales opportunities.
• Articulate how Optiv’s portfolio meets client leadership needs.
• Stay current on industry trends to inform clients and internal teams.
