Optiv is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to blend sales excellence with deep security practitioner expertise. You will design pragmatic, defensible security programs for clients and work across Threat Management, Cloud Security, and Identity to drive value.

Remote-friendly with travel as needed, you will partner with sales and delivery teams to tailor programs that meet client goals. Ideal candidates have five+ years in security roles, strong certifications, and proven ability to influence

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in an information security role focused on Threat Management, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer.
• Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management/Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics/eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design security solutions for assigned clients aligned with their security initiatives.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and collaborate with account teams.
• Present security strategies and roadmaps to leadership across client organizations.
• Coordinate demonstrations and evaluations with vendor partners and internal service delivery teams.
• Maintain advisory relationships with key stakeholders and stay updated on industry trends.
