Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join our nationwide team from home. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and apply skip-tracing techniques to recover delinquent accounts while maintaining compliance.

The role offers 100% remote work, performance-based commission, and a Monday–Friday schedule with benefits. Eligible states include Mississippi; residency in an approved state is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Reliable internet connectivity sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to remain available, responsive, and productive throughout scheduled working hours.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial situations.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Consistently work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
