Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our sales team. This remote, home-office-based position requires residence in California and frequent face-to-face customer meetings to drive growth and develop integrated thermal solutions.

You will manage existing accounts, develop new opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to define product requirements and support solution development. Travel for customer visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical account management, sales, program management, or related customer-facing role.
• Eaton will not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position, including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets set by leadership.
• Grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities and relationships across customer organizations.
• Develop understanding of customer markets, competition, and industry trends, including long-term growth projections.
• Create and execute account strategies to increase customer penetration and expand sales of Boyd Thermal by Eaton products and services.
• Establish strategic goals and tactical plans that support sustained business growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits and business development activities to build relationships and win new opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and procurement teams to define product requirements and support solution development with Boyd Engineering.
• Present products, prototypes, and solutions highlighting Boyd Thermal by Eaton's capabilities, materials expertise, and manufacturing strengths.
• Manage the quotation process, including gathering technical and commercial requirements, reviewing specifications, and coordinating with Sales Operations and Estimating teams.
• Handle commercial discussions related to pricing, contracts, payment terms, shipping requirements, and customer concerns.
• Partner with Sales Operations to monitor project progress and ensure milestones and production schedules are achieved.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, customer intelligence, and business activity within Salesforce CRM, providing regular updates to management.
