Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven years of related experience in selling technical customized products.
• Proven success penetrating large organizations and growing accounts.
• Experience hunting and acquiring new large clients.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and forge relationships with cross-functional teams at potential customers.
• Engage with customers to support and manage growth by building relationships with operating departments and management levels.
• Understand customers' industries, analyze market trends and competitive landscape (1, 3, 5 year projections).
• Develop and execute strategies to increase customer penetration by selling additional products and services.
• Set strategic goals and plans to achieve growth in a high-reward environment.
• Travel as needed, potentially internationally, to develop opportunities with foreign customers.
• Collaborate with customer engineers, purchasing, and Boyd Engineering to define and develop solutions.
• Demonstrate products and provide guidance using prototypes and marketing materials.
• Manage the quotation process with Sales Operations, including technical review of drawings, data, and pricing to maximize revenue and gross margin.
• Monitor project progress with Sales Operations to meet milestones and schedules.
• Handle commercial topics with customers: credit, shipping terms, payments, and contract negotiations.
• Use Salesforce CRM daily to capture opportunities and communicate status to colleagues.
