Job summary

Boyd Thermal, a division of Eaton Corporation, is seeking a Technical Sales/Business Development Executive to drive double-digit growth. You will source new customers, develop integrated product solutions, and maintain strong relations with key accounts from a home office or near a Boyd facility.

You will lead negotiations, coordinate with engineering and sales operations, and use Salesforce daily to capture opportunities. Travel may be international as needed to develop opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience selling technical customized products.
• Experience penetrating large organizations and growing those accounts.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Proficient with Salesforce CRM and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and forge relationships with cross-functional teams at potential customers.
• Support growth by building relationships with operating departments and management levels.
• Analyze customers and industries with 1-, 3-, and 5-year trend projections.
• Develop strategies to increase customer penetration by selling additional products and services.
• Engage at customer locations to win incremental business; periodic international travel may be required.
• Collaborate with customer engineers, purchasing, and Boyd Engineering on solutions.
• Demonstrate products using prototypes and materials to illustrate Boyd’s value proposition.
• Manage quotations with pricing to maximize revenue and gross margin.
