Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Medical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in testing or systems engineering in an interdisciplinary R&D environment.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, lab procedures and hardware-software integration.
• Hands-on lab testing experience in automated fluidic or chemical processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; stakeholder communication ability.
• Willingness to spend several days a month on site in Ulm.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and priorities, create test plans aligned with project timelines and coordinate experimental activities.
• Support engineers in design of experiments for fluidic processes and device prototypes; supervise lab testing.
• Analyze results, translate findings into actionable outcomes and communicate critical findings.
• Own the verification and validation activities with external partners ensuring regulatory alignment.
