Job summary

MSD is seeking a Territory Representative to cover the Southern Detroit, MI territory and engage veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts with our Animal Health Companion Animal product portfolio. You will develop customer strategies, present solutions, and drive sales opportunities in a field-based team.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to travel overnight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, veterinary/healthcare, or a bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel overnight and some weekend activity.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer strategy and account plans for key customers.
• Communicate Animal Health portfolio value to customers and drive sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with field partners to drive growth and a One Company approach.
• Analyze monthly sales results and manage expenses within budget guidelines.
• Deliver relevant offerings addressing customer needs with leadership support.
