Job summary

SMA America is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Solar and Storage in the Southwest. The role is remote and field based, covering Southern California, Arizona, and Hawaii, with residence in the Phoenix, Los Angeles, or San Diego metro areas.

Frequent travel is required, including periodic Hawaii travel. You will grow SMA’s market share by partnering with distributors and installers, managing residential and commercial PV and storage solutions, and representing SMA at industry events to

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a sales or account manager role.
• Current residence in the Phoenix, Los Angeles, or San Diego metropolitan area.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Authorized Distributors and installers in the territory.
• Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to grow SMA’s share.
• Prospect for solar and energy storage installers with distributor partners.
• Increase SMA sales by building relationships with key installers and distributors.
• Represent SMA at conferences, trade shows, and NEC code events to drive adoption of SMA products.
