Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the United States to drive sales targets and develop the geographic territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Leader and support end-user customers and distributors to achieve strategic goals.

In this role, you will lead sales for PPG Refinish brands through distributors, develop customer relationships, and apply market insights to meet regional targets. Expect ~25% overnight travel and a focus on growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years track record growing sales with consultative selling skills.
• Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales plans while managing costs, receivables and expenses.
• Develop territory and provide market data to ensure delivery of targets.
• Sell paint systems and sundry items of PPG Refinish brands through distribution.
• Manage distributor relationships including sales, training and receivables.
• Leverage knowledge of body shop/fleet ops to improve profitability and cycle time.
• Travel up to 25% to support customers and achieve goals.
