Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Richmond, VA is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive sales for national accounts like The Home Depot and Lowe's. You will develop relationships, execute retail strategies, and implement in-store merchandising for hardware, fencing, railing and lattice products across Virginia and West Virginia.

You will identify new leads, share market insights with account teams, manage quotes using price lists, and support training and events while traveling up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work from remote sites and manage workload.
• Travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster positive relationships with national account partners (Installers, Lumber/Garden Departments, Pro Desk and Outside Sales).
• Support merchandising integrity and FRD displays; assist with installation of beams, signage and stocking.
• Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information and providing recommendations.
• Organize daily calls and training; submit activity reports and territory analyses.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions with installers.
• Maintain knowledge of catalogs and product offerings through meetings with product managers.
• Utilize Workday, SuccessFactors and Salesforce CRM to manage customer interactions and sales pipelines.
