Job summary

Avanos Medical, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Interventional Pain covering Central Illinois and Chicago suburbs.

You will drive sales of capital and consumable pain products, build executive relationships, and manage the sales funnel with clinical and administrative stakeholders in hospitals and ambulatory centers. The role requires three+ years of medical device sales, knowledge of hospital buying processes, and willingness to travel; salary range reflects base pay with incentive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required.
• Minimum three years in medical device sales with track record of success.
• Understanding of hospital/ASC buying processes and GPO/IDN roles.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methods and value-based care.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to travel overnight.
• Proficient in Windows applications and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons, physicians and administrators.
• Develop opportunities and protect market share while generating new leads.
• Gain expertise across products and platforms.
• Manage Capital Sales Funnel and increase account utilization.
• Lead contract negotiations and local pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager on strategic planning.
• Provide sales positioning, training and product education to customers.
• Execute business activities to meet objectives.
