Job summary

Safepoint Insurance is seeking an Agency Relations Manager to build and maintain agency relationships across the Georgia territory. The role is based in your home office with a requirement to commute 50-70 miles within the territory.

The ideal candidate will grow a profitable territory, optimize independent agent growth, and collaborate on product, pricing, and agency management decisions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• Successful previous experience as an Insurance Sales Representative or Sales Coordinator for more than 3 years.
• In-depth Property and Casualty Insurance industry knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines underwriting guidelines.
• 3–5 years of previous account management and customer service experience.
• Valid Property & Casualty licensure and reciprocal licensure for applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Scout and identify potential agencies for specific insurance programs.
• Identify agencies interests and growth potential and motivate agents to succeed.
• Initiate marketing processes within each agency to attract and retain new business.
• Design strategies for marketing and sale of insurance contracts.
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
• Develop collaborative strategic agency management plans with agencies to achieve mutual objectives.
