Job summary

SafePoint Insurance Company is seeking an Agency Relations Manager to build and maintain agency relationships across the Georgia territory. This home-office role requires commuting 50–70 miles within the territory and traveling to engage with agencies and trade associations.

The candidate will grow a profitable territory, optimize growth with independent agents, and collaborate on product, pricing, and agency management decisions. Strong communication and networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Insurance Sales or Sales Coordination.
• Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance lines.
• Strong understanding of Personal & Commercial lines underwriting guidelines.
• 3–5 years of account management and customer service experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional networks.
• Valid resident Property & Casualty license (and reciprocal licensure as applicable).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential agencies for insurance programs and grow the agency network.
• Motivate agents to grow their business and participate in agency marketing efforts.
• Design and implement marketing and sales strategies for contracts.
• Represent the company at trade association events to promote products.
• Develop strategic agency management plans with agencies to meet objectives.
• Travel within the assigned territory to meet with agents and attend trade shows.
