Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in the Northeast is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies, driving profit and premium.

The role requires five-plus years of underwriting and sales experience, Senior Living expertise, and the ability to lead agency relationships while traveling around 25 agency visits annually. This is a remote position within the Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience with authority.
• Senior Living industry experience preferred.
• Strong business development and agency-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies.
• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals through business plans.
• Lead and influence agencies with sales strategies and processes.
• Collaborate with internal partners to expand Nationwide presence.
• Plan agency visits, performance reviews and new agency appointments.
• Monitor market conditions and underwriting performance to adjust plans.
