Job summary

Child Trends is seeking an experienced temporary recruiter to help fill 40 to 50 positions over the next several months. This is a hands-on, independent role with an end date of 3/31/2027 and fully remote within the United States.

The responsibilities include screening large volumes, conducting structured phone screens and references, improving templates and dashboards, coordinating interviews, posting compliant jobs, and ensuring timely, accurate candidate communications.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of recruiting experience, including high-volume hiring.
• Experience using ADP Workforce Now to lead recruiting.
• Experience configuring or improving an applicant tracking system.
• Comfort with Excel or reporting tools to track hiring metrics.
• Federal contractor experience required.
• Working knowledge of EEO requirements and pay transparency laws.

Responsibilities

• Applicant Pool Management and Screening: review and triage large volumes using scorecards and screening questions.
• Phone screens and reference checks using approved questions.
• Track applicant status and communicate at every stage.
• Systems Improvement and Automation: streamline ATS workflows, templates, and dashboards.
• Coordinate interview schedules and provide weekly pipeline updates.
• Posting and Outreach: post roles with compliant pay ranges and broaden candidate pool.
• Compliance and Records: follow federal/state posting and privacy rules.
• Offers and Handoff: prepare offers and hand off to HR for onboarding.
