Job summary

Legion Health is a technology-forward psychiatry company delivering outpatient mental health care and expanding access through telehealth. We seek collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) across the United States to supervise PMHNPs and provide clinical guidance through secure telehealth workflows.

This part-time, remote contractor role combines meaningful clinical responsibility with robust operational support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely via electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatric patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
