Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD/DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical autonomy with strong operational support.

You will provide clinical guidance, conduct chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing where legally permitted, while Legion recruits, vets PMHNPs, and handles scheduling and credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans and meds.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including certain controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
