Job summary

Legion Health is recruiting collaborating psychiatrists (MD/DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth across the United States. This remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical autonomy with strong operational support from Legion.

You will mentor clinicians, review charts, and provide guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans while ensuring responsible prescribing within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Proven clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort delivering remote care and using EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions when legally permitted and clinically appropriate.
• Be available during agreed working hours to support PMHNP shifts.
