Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a remote capacity. The role focuses on guiding care delivered to members through telemedicine and coordinating in-person care when needed.

The Lead APP will supervise APPs, work with a multidisciplinary team, and report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment. Candidates reside in eligible states and have strong primary/urgent care leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC) required.
• 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience.
• 1+ year experience supervising or leading APPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) with multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs).
• Support development of clinical guidelines and continuous improvement of the care model.
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
