Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to oversee care within the Virtual Health Assessment program. This remote role supports telemedicine visits and coordinates a multidisciplinary team of APPs, RNs, and Medical Assistants to deliver high-quality care to members.

You will supervise APPs, develop clinical guidelines, and serve as a clinical leader while ensuring compliance with laws and delivering care virtually, with occasional in-person coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have full practice licensure in good standing in Florida and at least three of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia.
• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC).
• 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience.
• 1+ year experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care virtually and support professional & clinical growth.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs).
• Support development of clinical guidelines and continuous improvement of the care model.
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
