Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Virtual Health Assessment team. This remote role oversees care delivered to members via telemedicine and may supervise APPs, RNs, and Medical Assistants, coordinating virtual and in-person care as needed.

You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care, clinical guidelines, and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have full practice licensure in good standing in Florida plus at least three of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia.
• 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience
• 1+ year experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team
• Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs)
• Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients
• Other duties as assigned
