Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Telecoms Systems Administrator to oversee critical telecom infrastructure with an emphasis on reliability and remote administration. You will configure, tune, secure, and troubleshoot diverse platforms to ensure high availability of voice and data services.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, implementing proactive fixes, and supporting internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems administration with a significant focus on telecom systems.
Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and telephony platforms.
Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux and virtualization technologies.
Strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and optimize telecom systems, including PBX, VoIP gateways, and related software.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
Manage user accounts, configurations, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery plans for critical telecom systems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal users and technical teams.
