Job summary

Race Communications is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate and manage field service deployments from a remote home office in California. The role involves scheduling, routing, and real-time communication with technicians to meet customer needs and service requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in dispatch (telecom preferred), experience with Salesforce, dispatch software, and a strong understanding of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years dispatch operations experience, telecom preferred.
• 1–2 years Salesforce or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with dispatch software and route optimization.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in field service operations.
• Good map-reading and geographical knowledge.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming service requests from customers.
• Assigns technicians based on skills, availability and location.
• Monitors technician status and provides ETA and service updates.
• Maintains accurate records of service calls, including details and technician info.
• Coordinates with other departments to meet service level agreements.
• Maintains records of technician availability and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Performs administrative tasks related to dispatch operations.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Continuously monitors dispatch operations for efficiency improvements.
