Job summary

Race Communications is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate and manage field service deployments remotely from California. The role involves scheduling, routing, and dispatching technicians to meet customer needs, while monitoring real-time operations and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in dispatch, 1–2 years Salesforce experience, map reading ability, and strong communication skills. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
• Minimum age 18.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in dispatch operations, preferably in telecom.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ Salesforce or equivalent.
• Familiarity with dispatching best practices and using dispatch software to optimize operations.
• Understanding of safety regulations and logistics management.
• Geographical knowledge of service area and map reading.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Typing 40 words per minute.
• English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking); Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming service requests from customers.
• Assigns technicians based on skills, availability and location.
• Monitors technician status and informs customers of ETA and updates.
• Maintains accurate service call records and technician information.
• Monitors service calls to ensure timely resolution and escalates as needed.
• Coordinates with other departments to meet service level agreements.
• Maintains records of technician availability and adjusts schedules.
• Performs administrative tasks (data entry, filing, report generation).
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety, and customer service.
• Continuous improvement of dispatch efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Cross-train and share knowledge with team members.
