Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or Psychology
• 0–2 years of professional experience in technical writing or software documentation; internship experience and/or equivalent training
• Experience with MS Office suite, Google Apps, and graphic imaging software
• Experience with print and digital media formats
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Effective active listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic research, data gathering, and analysis skills
• Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
• Ability to be fluent with ideas, detail-oriented, innovative, and think creatively
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Able to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

• Assists with creating product user guides, manuals, technical specifications, and knowledge articles
• Ensures content aligns with documentation styles and standards
• Develops in-depth knowledge of the application to write or update content
• Collaborates with product experts and other writers for reviews
• Supports application product acceptance testing
• Maintains knowledge management materials
