Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a detail‑oriented Technical Writer to join our fully remote documentation team. You will learn the product delivery life cycle and write user guides, reference guides, and release notes that explain complex software clearly.

Collaborating with software developers, product managers, and support staff, you’ll gather technical information, ensure accuracy, and apply our style standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in technical writing or related field (internships/counts)

Responsibilities

• Learn the product delivery life cycle and monitor documentation progress
• Write and edit user guides, technical reference guides, and release notes
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to gather technical information
• Help maintain and organize the documentation site/knowledge base in ClickHelp
• Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and grammar
• Use AI/LLM tools to draft content and then edit and fact-check
• Incorporate feedback from testing, support tickets, and customer questions
• Contribute to larger documentation projects such as audits or migrations
