ADT Security Services is seeking a Customer Technical Support team member to handle inbound calls for alarm system and home automation questions. You will guide customers through troubleshooting steps and provide technical assistance while maintaining a calm, empathetic, and patient approach.

This role requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote work setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Reliable and Dependable.
• Ability to empathize and connect with the customer.
• Ability to multitask with ease, effectively prioritize tasks and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving & customer de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with customers and coworkers.
• Self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitask across multiple systems and applications.
• Handle inbound customer calls for alarm system and home automation issues, provide technical assistance and education.
• Walk customers through guided troubleshooting steps to resolve issues on the call.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Present our Virtual Service Call process to save customers time and money when on-call issues can’t be solved.
