Job summary

ADT is hiring a Remote Install Specialist to support installation and servicing of customer alarm equipment from home across multiple states in the US. The role emphasizes delivering an award-winning customer experience via remote tools and scheduled calls.

You will install ADT products, explain system functionality, and identify additional security solutions to enhance customers' homes. A quiet home office and reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college credits or a degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of Customer Service experience required with technical support experience preferred.
• Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, selling skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• One year of home security systems technician experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch installation assistance to existing customers via scheduled outbound calls, ensuring swift, accurate, and effective solutioning.
• Install a wide range of ADT products and services, clearly communicating complex issues and their resolutions to enhance the customer experience.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of ADT products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Educate the customer on the functionality of their system for maximum use potential
• Identify and offer additional security and home automation solutions to further enhance the customer's home and quality of life.
• Address various technical issues and determine best course of action for customer resolution to include partnering with Remote Service or Field partners appropriately.
