Job summary

ADT is hiring a Remote Install Specialist to support installation and servicing of customer alarm equipment, delivering an award-winning customer experience via remote scheduled appointments.

The role requires troubleshooting, installing equipment, and educating customers on system functionality while offering additional security and home automation solutions. A private quiet workspace and reliable internet are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college credits or a degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of Customer Service experience required with technical support experience preferred.
• Skills: Technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, selling skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• One (1) year of home security systems technician experience is highly preferred.
• Work from home position must have private work area that is quiet and free of distractions and meets company standards with adequate internet bandwidth to perform the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch installation assistance to existing customers via scheduled outbound calls, ensuring swift, accurate, and effective solutioning.
• Install a wide range of ADT products and services, clearly communicating complex issues and their resolutions to enhance the customer experience.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of ADT products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Educate the customer on the functionality of their system for maximum use potential
• Identify and offer additional security and home automation solutions to further enhance the customer’s home and quality of life.
• Address various technical issues and determine best course of action for customer resolution to include partnering with Remote Service or Field partners appropriately.
