Job summary

EOS is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Metals to support Field Service Engineers and customers. The role focuses on technical training, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to ensure high customer satisfaction and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities include documenting cases, using C4C for activity tracking, and traveling to customer sites as required to support platform upgrades and equipment updates.

Qualifications

• Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical engineering technology.
• Two to three years of experience servicing industrial equipment.
• Experience with data preparation for additive manufacturing using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks preferred.
• Product knowledge on industrial lasers and axis motion systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Service Engineers and customers by transferring technical knowledge and providing training.
• Document service issues thoroughly and escalate when unresolved at the local level.
• Use C4C to analyze, plan, execute, and document service cases with daily updates.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and accompany technicians on escalated issues.
• Create self-help resources and share lessons learned with the service group.
