Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. seeks a Technical Application Support Analyst to process, validate, transmit, and troubleshoot electronic tax reporting files for banks and credit unions nationwide.

This remote role requires collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet regulatory deadlines and ensure accurate tax reporting. You will support IRS submissions, review acknowledgements, and assist with regulatory changes while regularly communicating with customers during peak filing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, implementation, or backroom bank operations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak tax reporting periods as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor electronic tax file submissions to the IRS.
• Review IRS acknowledgements, rejections, and accepted-with-error responses.
• Troubleshoot file validation, formatting, transmission, and processing issues.
• Analyze file processing results and identify corrective actions.
• Document findings, resolutions, and customer communications.
• Partner with operations, development, product, and support teams to resolve client-impacting issues.
• Support customers during critical filing periods and tax reporting deadlines.
• Assist with testing activities related to IRS regulatory changes and system enhancements.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
