Job summary

JD Power seeks a Technical Solutions Consultant to partner with an automotive client, turning complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions. You will own the solution design from discovery to kickoff, coordinating with analysts, architects, and developers to deliver results.

You will produce documentation, craft client-facing statements of work, and present approaches to stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and seeking opportunities to expand work with the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions consulting, pre-sales or technical solution design.
• Direct client engagement, in person and remote, shaping technical solutions.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into practical, well-documented solutions.
• Strong understanding of system architecture: integration, modernization, scalability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to translate business challenges into actionable technical solutions.
• Own high-level estimates and review detailed estimates from delivery teams.
• Produce solution docs, including business/functional requirements and wireframes.
• Present solution approaches to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior teammates and identify opportunities to expand work with the client.
