Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Technical Services Support Specialist for its Enterprise Assessment & Tax team in the United States. You will resolve client software issues through data analysis and troubleshooting, using SQL and related tools while expanding knowledge of the product.

The role runs 8am–5pm EDT with in-office Tue–Thu and remote Mon–Fri, enabling collaboration across teams and opportunities to train end-users and participate in User Group activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a technical support or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of database structures including fields, tables, views, and objects.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL preferred.
• Experience with HTML, XSL, XML and related technologies preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and document outcomes.
• Use SQL to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate issues.
• Record all client interactions in designated systems for transparency.
• Prioritize open calls per published policies and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with other teams on issues involving Tyler software applications.
• Maintain knowledge of product through ongoing learning and training.
• Assist in training end-users, virtual or in-person, and participate in User Groups.
