Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Software Support Specialist for Data & Insights Solutions. You will unblock clients, troubleshoot data and ETL issues, and document solutions to help teammates deliver timely resolutions for government data programs.

You’ll triage tickets, collaborate with engineers, support live courses for city data coordinators, and contribute to knowledge base content, ensuring clear guidance for clients and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Able to understand a technical concept or problem
• Proficient with contemporary online applications and able to learn new technologies quickly
• Able to command a broad, deep range of nuanced cloud-based software behaviors and functionality
• Working knowledge of web development principles and programming language syntax to troubleshoot queries (SQL or Python a plus)
• Basic knowledge and understanding of data concepts and database structures

Responsibilities

• Deep dive on client-reported blockers to identify workarounds and test technical solutions
• Troubleshoot ETL pipelines and data schemas to help clients solve business problems
• Work with clients to shape and format data for analysis and visualizations
• Participate in client and internal meetings to inform high-level and use-case driven guidance
• Help clients develop solutions by leveraging platform APIs with various programming languages
• Curate and maintain knowledge base content and partner with product owners on documentation
