Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Software Support Specialist for Data & Insights Solutions to help clients in government data programs. You will troubleshoot complex data and ETL issues, craft responses for clients, and document solutions for teammates.

You’ll work with cross‑functional teams, support data models and APIs, and contribute to knowledge base improvements to scale support across government data platforms.

Qualifications

• Able to understand a technical concept or problem (not just translate it).
• Proficient with contemporary online applications and able to learn new technologies rapidly.
• Working knowledge of web development principles and programming language syntax to troubleshoot queries (SQL or Python a plus).
• Basic knowledge of data concepts and database structures including fields, tables, views, and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive on client-reported blockers to identify workarounds and test solutions.
• Troubleshoot ETL pipelines and data schemas to help clients understand and solve business problems.
• Shape and format data for analyses and visualizations with clients.
• Participate in meetings and leverage product expertise to inform high-level use cases.
• Help clients develop solutions using platform APIs with various languages.
• Maintain knowledge base and collaborate with product owners on documentation for releases.
• Provide Tier II support and coordinate with other divisions to solve rollout issues.
