Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Blauvelt, NY, is seeking a Technical Service Technician to provide critical support to sales representatives and customers, ensuring optimal product satisfaction. This remote role reports to the Technical Services Supervisor and may require travel to the Blauvelt location for meetings and trainings.

You will troubleshoot service issues, develop maintenance procedures, deliver on-site training, and liaise with engineering on new requirements while supporting service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in the heating and domestic water heating industry.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, controls and hardware.
• Knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance with steam and gas-fired equipment.
• Adherence to laws, codes, policies and safety practices.
• Background checks and pre-employment testing required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and service technicians via telephone regarding issues.
• Troubleshoot service-related customer complaints.
• Participate in ongoing trainings onsite and externally.
• Assist in creating technical service procedures and bulletin documentation.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting at customer locations and in the field.
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and training seminars.
