Job summary

Watts Water Technologies seeks a Technical Service Technician to provide remote and on-site support for sales representatives and customers. This role is based in Blauvelt, NY, with 25% travel and performs troubleshooting, training, and technical documentation to ensure product satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-site visits, developing maintenance procedures, and liaising between technical service and engineering.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5 years of experience in the heating and domestic water heating industry.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, controls and hardware.
Knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance requirements with steam and gas fired equipment.
Must pass background checks and pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and service technicians via telephone regarding product and service issues.
Troubleshoot service-related complaints and support on-site visits as needed.
Develop and update technical service procedures and bulletin documentation.
Provide training seminars for Representatives and Service Technicians.
Visit customers for on-site troubleshooting of product/service problems.
Collaborate with engineering on new troubleshooting requirements.
