Job summary

Amrize Cement Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Engineer II to support sales with technical and marketing services for cementitious products. This is a work-from-home role with up to 50% travel across the Midwest.

You will train customers, troubleshoot quality issues, and help promote Amrize’s cementitious strategy while collaborating with market managers and field personnel. A Bachelor's in Engineering or technical field is required, with 5 years in concrete or construction, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical field.
• 5 years of experience in concrete or construction field preferred.
• Excellent understanding of the cement industry and admixtures.
• Sales promotion experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in implementation of marketing strategies for cementitious products.
• Train customers and Amrize personnel in cement and concrete analysis and promotional activities.
• Troubleshoot and handle customer quality-related complaints.
• Support market managers on technical issues related to marketing multiple product lines.
• Develop connections with customers, DOTs, trade associates, engineers and public affairs.
• Drive for quality management in the assigned territory and participate in quality councils.
• Participate in local and national industry associations and be a technical resource for operations.
• Understand and communicate local and national issues with cementitious materials.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.
