Job summary

Amrize Cement Inc. seeks a Technical Service Engineer II to support the sales force with technical and marketing services for cementitious products across the Midwest.

This work-from-home role requires residency in the Midwest and up to 50% travel (Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas). You will train customers and Amrize personnel, troubleshoot quality issues, and promote cementitious strategies, while upholding safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in concrete or construction related field preferred.
• Excellent understanding of the cement industry and admixtures usage.
• Sales promotion experience or training is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in implementation of marketing strategies for cementitious products.
• Train customers and Amrize personnel in cement and concrete analysis, promotional activities and training.
• Troubleshoot and handle customer quality-related complaints.
• Support market managers on technical issues related to marketing multiple product lines.
• Develop a connection base with customers, DOTs, trade associates, architects, engineers and public affairs.
• Drive for quality management in the assigned territory including leading quality councils and collecting market performance data.
• Participate in local and national industry associations and be a technical resource for company-wide operations.
• Understand and communicate local and national issues with cementitious materials.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
